SCENEBetter was responsible for the design and installation of an Events in the Sky event in Brighton which involved all aspects of the two week event on the beach which was open to the public. As well as setting up and commissioning the Events in the Sky platform with its 220T crane, the ground infrastructure involved was extensive. This included a hospitality marquee and bar, outdoor seating area, deck area on the beach including access from promenade to beach over the promenade boundary and fully functioning kitchen. Services provided also included waste and water services, electrical infrastructure via run and standby generators, lighting, PA, all custom built site equipment and decoration. As usual with events which are designed to be used by the general public,detailing and finishes were key to its success.
